Toy World Order Decided to send someone to Powercon 2012 this year! Unfortunately Devall and Draper were busy, David World and Flynn were out of town so that means they sent the least knowledgeable He-Man staff member to the show. Me. BC Direct.
So what is Powercon? I was under the assumption that it was Los Angeles’s premiere convention for solar energy, turns out I was wrong. Check out the gallery below for pics of the show room floor! Lots of MOTUC vendors, artists, and Customs!
Powercon also marked the release of some AMAZING figures from our good friends at Spy Monkey Creations called The Weaponeers of Monkaa!
In Addition to the photos it was announced that Mattel will be releasing a new Castle Grayskull based on the original design for $200. Preorders hit Mattycollector.com in the fall but no pictures will be released until next years Toyfair. Also, orders will have to meet (again?!) a minimum order to go into production. Â However, this piece will be able to ship internationally as it will have no electronics.
